  • Unique compared to what? We don't yet know the characteristics of every planet (or most/half/a small amount), so we cannot truly call ourselves unique when comparing our planet to every other in the entire universe. In our own solar system, our planet is conducive to life. We share many traits with other planets but the fact that we have all of them makes us "unique." We have the tide, we are a proper distance from the sun, there is an abundance of oxygen, a great amount of foliage, and regular rainfall. Of course, some of these came about as the result of other effects (a chain reaction, if you will), but they are certainly unique when taken altogether.
  • Earth is just the right distance from the sun to not freeze organic life, and not too hot for organic life to survive. 70% covered in water. perfect seasons and tides for certain lifeforms to exist. and i cant think of another 2
