First, if it was truly an oversight (which it probably was), then it is not false advertising.
Second, you are entitled to your contract remedies. Thus, you could return the item and get a full refund. Or you can return the item, buy the correct item from another vendor, and then get the difference in cost between the price you paid and the item you bought.
Why don't you just settle for getting all your money back, including shipping and handling, since they sent you something you didn't order?
False advertising is something for the FTC to prosecute, not you.
If they don't give you back all your money, call the FTC and the BBB.
My friend is a plaintiff in a lawsuit, and says she is legally not allowed to miss court.Is this accurate? Can one be legally forced to sue?

You're reading I purchased an ipod from a website and they sent me the wrong one. When i called them they said that they no longer carry that item in their warehouse and that they just need to update their website..hello isnt that false advertisement? Can i sue them?
