I have an abscess in my gum what can I do to make it desolve?

    Not alot. You need antobotics. You can help the discomfort some with warm salt water. Or at least it helped mine feel better. I would have tried anything. I feel for you.

    Until you see your dentist...I hope you have a visit planned....

    Keep your mouth spotlessly clean as much as you can...floss, brush, etc.

    Then, take one ounce of standard Hydrogen Peroxide solution into your mouth ... swish it around, paying especial attention to the sore spot ... after about 30 seconds or so, spit out the peroxide. Don't eat or drink anything for about 15 minutes or so.

    Then make sure you have scheduled your dental appointment if you haven't already done that.
