my boyfriend is my soul mate. He was a good friend all through my childhood (who I had the biggest crush on ever)
We have been together 12 years and we do everything together. we know what each other is thinking and we hate being apart.

I am soooo lucky to have found him.

He's in Scotland right now. I have already found him, I just have to wait 44 more days until I get to touch him, but I do get to talk to him and see him every night. I will be with him forever, that's what we are going to discuss when I'm there (I think he's going to propose).

I don't believe in soulmates. I think love is more of a tolerance thing. The more tolerant you are of other people's mistakes, the more loving in general you are. I find it quite difficult that as many people who say they've found their soulmate actually did. Especially considering the high 1st marriage divorce rate. I think people believe they've found their soulmate, but it's only because they don't actually know what it is, even if they whole-heartedly believe they do.
.
I haven't found my "soulmate" yet only because I haven't found someone who I'm equally tolerable of as she is of me.
.
I think I will eventually find a girl to settle down with, but I'm not in a rush. I want to make a right choice. By the way, there was actually an article on CNN last week that posed the question of whether or not monogamy is realistic. I personally believe that only a small percentage in this world have the self discipline to be completely monogamous. The rest either accept they can't be or hide it from their "soulmate." +3

Great answer, you've pretty much summed up what I was going to say only more eloquently than I would have.

Thank you for the kind words Spirit. Though I do wish you were the one grading my English papers in school, my teachers wouldn't have agreed with you. :)

I met my soul mate when I was 13. We started out as arch enemies, then went over to being friends and started dating when we were 17.
We were born on the same day, same year. Always had a quarrel over who was the oldest, hehe. Anyway, he died 2 weeks before our 21st birthday. He was pushed infront of a train.
So, I found mine and then lost him again.
