95% of cited drivers take this course in lieu of a fine. paying the fine goes on your driver license and your auto insurance.
By going to the defensive driving class, you pay a small fee and set up a date to take the class either online or at an established location. after successfully completing the class, your drivers license will still be clean and your insurance company never notified.
Its the only way to go.
If you still have the summons read the fine print. It states somewhere on there that you have to respond by a certain date. This is a moving violation which means, points on your license and license suspension if you don't appear. There will also be a penalty added to the original fine for each period, whether it be a week or every 30 days the fine is not taken care of. Being this is a moving violation why doesn't she just go to court and appear before the judge and plead guilty. The judge will tell her what the fine will be and just outside the court room you will find the cashiers window.
If you were forced into a fair fight, is that looked at the same as getting jumped?
