  • Not only are knowledge and information not interchangeable commodities--a fact sadly borne out more with each passing year in the Internet info-at-your-fingertips age--but wisdom is generally a bit harder to attain than knowledge! Wisdom is not a given with either information or education. Take it from the ridiculously over-educated with a wealth of internalized knowledge. I'm still scrambling after wisdom...

  • being knowledgeable and wise are two entirely different things. there are alot of knowledgeable people who aren't wise.
  • Wisdom is gained from experience and knowledge is gained from education + experience (in a different form). I would not consider calling anyone wise under at least the age of 40.
