The ones who play nicely. I don't need angry, hurtful care. +5

@Philis
You prefer malicious manipulators
pretending to be friends?

I was given two options, neither of which are my reality. I figured that, as long as we aren't dealing in reality, I might as well enjoy the freedom.

If you are around a schitzophrenic, you can have them both.

I'd choose the people with manners, because I'm better at detecting phony politeness than determining whether a hard-@$$ed person likes me. To me, if the person doesn't try to check his/her aggressive tendencies around me, then I conclude that he/she really must not care all that much. Being mean to someone we love usually drives them away eventually.

Neither. If I had to choose
between those, I'd rather become
a hermit. But there are other
people fortunately.

I strongly dislike phonies; but I also have a low tolerance for nasty people.
LoL I would probably put both them in their place.

I'd take the former if they were entertaining.

In the meantime, I'd minimize my time with them, get a pet, and spend the rest of my free time looking for nice people who really care about me.

I'd rather be around people with manners, even if they don't "mean it" (whatever that means).

For the most part, people have different persona's in public then they do in their private life anyway - that's just a fact of life, and one I can live with. Why torture myself with jerk's who make me feel like crap in the name of some sort of "tough love"? +3
