Help answer this question below.
It might be because the Aryan Nations is a racist, anti-semitic, white supremacist hate group. Or it could be because the definition of Aryan (according to Webster) is a person belonging to, or supposed to be a descendant of the prehistoric peoples who spoke this language. Aryan has no validity as an ethnological term, although it has been so used, notoriously and variously by the Nazis, to mean 'a Caucasoid of non-Jewish descent.'
It is because of the historical use of the word "Aryan" ascribed to supremacists and supremacist groups by their own doing. It is not fair that people cannot use that term without facing it but, sadly, facts are facts and history has set the stage.
My people, despite not being white, fall under the technical term "Aryan." One of my Rroma friends decided to see what would happen if she went around saying she is proud to be Aryan. She wanted to see if she would catch hell for being a racist or catch hell for calling herself Aryan despite not being white.
Unfortunately I lost contact with her because I would have loved to hear what she learned.
I might have to try it.
I think it´s retarded to pronounce you´re self from one race. I live in holland but hence my dark hair and eyes there is probably some spanish/morish in me as well.
We have marrocans in this country stating they are ´berbers´ even though they have mixed parents.
Everybody should try to quit box-thinking in the way you proclaim.
I think it´s really handy to call one colored guy amongst hundreds of whites `the black guy`. Everybody will understand you and everybody should grow up..
cuz they are
Guilty of being white.
Because of oppression and the swing of the pendullum just as the womens movement, the oppressed must feel superior for some time to feel validated before they agree to equality.
I guess it's just the "one-bad-apple" syndrome, where Hitler ruined it for the rest of us.
There is no such thing as Aryan people. Why not just call yourself a dumb ass instead?
Nine times out of ten, those who use the term "Aryan" are misusing it to denote a white European race, when it is really a Sanskrit base-word referring to those of Indo-European origins.
The reason people who call themselves Aryan are considered racist is because, historically, those who call themselves "Aryan" do so in a way that denotes that they believe themselves to be ethnically "superior" to other races - despite the fact that the "blond-haired, blue-eyed" person of "Aryan purity" or what have you is entirely fabricated. Nazis and white supremacists use the term "Aryan." Almost nobody else does because it has no real validity.
I'd also like to point out that "Jews" do not fulfill their own racial category so much as a religious one, unless you are anti-Semitic. You can convert to Judaism and become Jewish.
Because just about anything you read or hear about a group which has "Aryan" in their name usually consists of individuals of questionable intelligence, carrying around flags with swastikas, chanting "white power."
Aryan means "noblemen" or "noble," or of noble character. Gentic researchers have studied the traits common among Endo-Europeans "Aryans" and they have found that they tend to be more nurturing, and good willed, thus noble. Compared to lets say Africans and Mongolians as a whole.
Don't let what these stupid people say to you get you down. They are living in a fabricated relality where there is no turth other than what they were told to think, whitout ever having to figure out the truth on their own. That in itself, is VERY sad.
There is nothing wrong wanting to preserve ones race. It only becomes a problem when different races are living among one another. Look at China or Japan for instance. Especially the Japanese. The Japanese are very proud of being who they are, (ethnicity/culture) decsendant from the mongeloid race.
Why would they NOT think that?
.................think about it Don Gorgeous George.
In regards to your great question, "why is it not socially acceptable to be proud to be Aryan, let alone even consider yourself to be one? Why those who call themselves Aryan considered racists?"
The reason I feel this is the case, along with many historians and psychologists, and sociologists, is due to the advent of Political Correctness, also knwonw as Cultural Marxism. There is a documentary on "Cultural Marxism" on Youtube I highly recommend that you watch.
Another one that will answer your question more fully is entitled "The Struggle to Save the West" that can be found on Youtube by typing in the title into the search bar and there you will see, the seven part independent documentary. It is VERY true on all of subjects, and it will help you understand why whites are being, as one can say "victimized" beyound reasonable doubt. Whites use to be respected in the world and appreciated, but know it is the exact opposite and no body can stop and ask themselves, "Well why is this wrong, what is so wrong?" There is a reason, and you can only get there by following the truth, and questioning history. Challenge everything D.G.G.! That way you will find the truth-ask questions! This was a great question!
From my best calculations Political Correctness, stemmed from Karl Marx who was Jewish ans sought a way to debilitate Christians or any Western Civilization in order to have a Jewish supreme state. Look at Isreal, isn't it obvious? How did the American government put all that money, all that time, all those LIVE in for Isreal, to create a JEWISH STATE? Why? Just because of the Hollocost? Even the Jews have a strong long history of doing this long before the twentieth century.
How is it like having to deal with racism? I have never dealt with it but grew up in a racist family,
I want to change my thoughts

What is worse...a blatant racist/bigot or one who has no idea what a racist/bigot he/she is? Does being clueless make it less awful?

You're reading We have blacks, hispanics, Jews, Asians, etc. Its okay to be proud to be of these races, but why is it not socially acceptable to be proud to be Aryan, let alone even consider yourself to be one? Why those who call themselves Aryan considered racists?

Aryan is a sub group of the caucasian race. Typically blond haired and blue eyes. They are a real race, no better and no worse than any other. People have messed it up for them by using that term to claim supremacy unfortunately.

The term Caucasian in itself is a classification from the late 1800's. true Caucasians come from the area of the caucus mountains, and actually look more Asian. racial classification has changed very little since the late 1800, so most of the ideas and thoughts are indeed way off. you have to remember, the group that did racial classification had a vested interest to paint their own race as superior to all others. Hell, Europeans at one time actually thought that Gorillas were a sub species of humans, so much for classifications!

@olan black, well said. This is an article you might find interesting: http://www.cnn.com/2009/LIVING/10/22/cepeda.latino.census/index.html

The article was very interesting. I had similar thoughts about whites in the US, I have heard them claim Irish as a race, or some other European country. when in fact that is a nationality. so if you were born in the US, you can't be "Irish" by race or nationality. that would be the same as a black person claiming to be Bantu but being born in the US.
by olan black on November 2nd, 2009
The U.S. isn't going there. I have a mixed friend, father black, mother white, who has to constantly choose one or the other for his 'race', even on his marriage certificate. It's so past time to pull our heads out of these antiquated categories that were put in place with an agenda. But if AB is a hologram of the whole, that won't happen in our lifetimes.
by Dracool on November 2nd, 2009
I think its fair to say that Irish people can be a sub group of the caucasian race. Light skin, red hair, freckles. Makes sense. If a black person can trace his heritage and call himself Bantu, I say why not let it be known. Makes things more interesting.
