In the vast world of Answerbag, have you ever regretted giving your opinion on any questions because of the responses you got or have others been civil and polite even though they disagreed with you? What about questions you've asked? Any regrets?

Mostly good responses to my questions and answers. A few noodniks, but that is to be expected. Who cares about a few noodniks? I don't. I made Guru with all the noodniks on AB after me. Some are still attached to me. They seem to have a strange affinity for me. They follow me around like puppies, peeing on themselves and on the floor. I guess am a father figure for them or something.

I have found most of the people very friendly. If I get an 'off-colour' remark, I just deal with it accordingly. I do notice that one gets downmarked if people don't like what you say, for example, if you say you don't drink alcohol or something like that, but that is no problem. Questions I've asked -- I don't get many replies and a few have disappeared -- don't know where. Overall, it is a pleasant experience being on A/B up till now.

No. No regrets at all. I had asked a question on 20th October, 2008 when I was less than a month old in the Answerbag. I had given my own answer to the question explaining what I meant in the question as I was not very familiar with Answerbag terminology then. The question came to view again when I had posted its link in my profile page as the 'stupidest question ever asked by me'. I had a few more answers and then someone flagged it 'Nonsense' and was rejected on 31st. Oct. this year. I appealed to the Answerbag Administrators and within hours the question was reinstated by AB staff. This was the question: http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/1038454 The flag was set by someone who had not bothered to read my explanatory answer. Several other answers and comments had asked for clarifications and I had politely given the explanations. Overall I must say I am happy with my one year of Answerbag activity and the interactions with AB members have been positive. There are no regrets. I look forward to the future.

No regrets. It seems, people are mostly respectful, even with differing opinions. The only trouble I've had was with immaturity and arrogance...but, not much of that either.
