• Yes, DJ_Kremlin, so why are they still playing footsie with Iran? Eh? What's the deal? Even the old Czars were doing this way back in the seventeen and eighteen hundreds. Of course, they were trying to work their way into India then, too ...and to the Persian Gulf. They were always trying to get a grasp on warm water ports. But they could have done this easily, by simply working trade agreements. But that was not the geopolitical method of the time. You had to "conquer and hold" your goodies! And Russia was always envious of Britain. This little island nation...that controlled the seas and oceans. It drove their landlocked minds up the wall! (lol!) Even the old Soviet Union was still operating by the same old Russian inferiority complex. Only then, it was transferred to the U.S.,...we of the many warm ports and large land mass to boot. And the ability to disintegrate them in any potential war. God, how they hated us!....And Putin, former KGB head, probably still does. He is an old school Czarist Russian if there ever was one. I trust him about as far as I can spit.

• Yes they do, and I really hope the best for the Russian people...they were never our enemies. I just can't help being suspicious of the government. Old grudges die hard.

• Agreed. I'm actually happy they don't do much with thier resources. That government couldn't handle being rich. I mean really rich. They would use the money to bully the world and enslave their own people again.
