I've always heard, "The darker the berry the sweeter the juice." Is that true?

    It's probably true, because when I go to the store to buy grape juice, the darker the juice, the more expensive it is, and that's the one I like best.

    yes, true... the lighter it is, the less ripe, and therefore, the less sweet. as the fruit ripens it accumulates sugar, and as i'm sure you know, sugar is sweet...
