  • I would think the main motif for Beethoven's Symphony no. 5 in C minor 1st movement is the first two bar consisting of G-G-G-Eb and F-F-F-D. I am not able to comment professionally regarding the symphony's framework but since most classical period sonata form is in the form of AABA and also the first movement is in allegro which probably is similar to allegro sonata form. My 2 cents worth. =)
