What a hate-filled piece of drivel. I am a male feminist because I am a male who happens to believe deeply in equality, not because I hate my own gender.
I despise racial bigotry as well, but certainly not because I hate my own race.
Ditto for homophobia. I'm a long-married heterosexual, but believe people don't have to be exactly like me in order to be accorded the benefits and respect due any human being.

men can be feminists too, why wouldn't they be able to? anyone who wants equality for men and women is a feminist, gender has nothing to do with it.
