Why would a new mother, who has a helpless infant dependent on her, continue to take the same kinds of prescription drugs that killed her adult son?

• I saw on a tabloid that it was but I don't know how true that is. She may have stopped long enough to have the baby or her doctors may have monitored her or something like that. I really don't know. I do know that when someone is addicted to painkillers and are given methodone as a replacement they will sometimes take the methodone but won't get enough to get a buzz so they will either take more or mix it with other drugs. I beleive that this is what happend to her and her son.

• The war on drugs is a long going war that has many reasons, the largest one is young adults and their boredom.
