I fall sleep through anything.
A couple years ago, I was not able to fall sleep without the TV on.
When I was tired, I would flip the TV on or put some movie playing. I didn't even watch it I just put it on to fall asleep!!

Either quiet or a rhythmical sound like a fan or clock. I can't sleep with the TV or radio on. Its too distracting.
I sleep with the fan on. I have tinnitus, ringing sound in the ear. The sound of the fan drowns out the ringing sound and I can sleep.
I have to have a fan. The nurses laughed @ me when I pulled out a desk fan for my hospital room.
I can sleep with noise, but no light whatsoever.
So if it's hot, I can sleep with a fan.
When it's cold, quiet is fine.
Quiet or a fan.
I sleep better when its quiet, but my s/o sleeps with a fan so now I do too, its one of the many sacrifices I've made. You know what they say, you've got to pick your battles wisely. =P +4
I sleep best when it's quiet and the sounds of nature are around me, like the breezes or rain outside. I love to have the door or window open to the outdoors and enjoy the sounds and fresh air.
I use a fan for noise
Fan.
Just set the snooze on the tv for me and I'll drift away to lala land
I sleep best in a silent pitch dark environment.
