Schools who had the knowledge and withheld such basic information should be held accountable in some fashion -- prolly not a cash give out, flowers are more appropriate.

Human sexuality is a colourful and varied thing. However, is it really a school's responsibility to dedicate classroom hours to every permutation going? No! Schools need to teach the majority about human biology and normal sexual matters (as in the average and mainstream natural sexuality of the populace), particularly with a view to promoting sexual values and practices that will prevent early pregnancies. Should anyone be financially compensated for having a predilection for another sexual path. Ridiculous!

for one reason....for starters do not call them homos, it is inappropriate and disrespectful especially if I am not mistaken, you are homosexual yourself. Not being given "proper" sex ed in high school does not create or "un" create a homosexual. It is something you are born, it all boils down to how you deal with your feelings. Hopefully you have a loving support system and if you are a part of a religion that is hateful, you can overcome that as well. In school, esp. public school, if that's what u are talking about, they have sooooo much to deal with anyway, they do the best they can. It's not their fault, assuming it's the curriculum and not their beliefs.

What made you suffer? Sexual education in your school? What about schools where there is little sex education at all, beyond male and female anatomy? Would you claim you suffered from being around mainly straight kids through puberty? Should all those kids chip in and pay you off? Seriously, why the onus on others?
