Why is it that when I buy high quality tools, for specific jobs in mind, and I keep good care of them, then they disappear or get stolen, and I'm left with generic flathead screwdriver and trash that might as well be potmetal?

    I usually blame the kids.
It's a good thing I keep my leatherman on my side, sometimes it's the only tool I can find.
But I can sympathize. I hate cheap tools and the good ones always get lost and are missed the most.
