Help answer this question below.
All drugs have positive and negative side effects. You shouldn't ever take a drug without weighing the positives against the negatives.
Many drugs are illegal or controlled (which pretty much means illegal without a prescription) -- the illegality itself is one negative side effect that must be considered.
But even aside from that, it's not worth it to me to take any opioid, for instance, because they can seriously harm the body and I don't have any pain that needs controlling ... and both opium (illegal) and morphine (controlled) are opioids.
Well, I'll start with the obvious one... Medications are designed to save lives, cure illnesses, etc.
Illegal drugs, generally speaking, are there to pretty much only harm the body's functions, not aid them.
That being said, historically people who had been on medications that were opiates, did turn to drugs after the legal medication was no longer prescribed because they had become addicted.
it might fark up the functional befefits from your meds. Then I'd have to kill you again.
Some people do both.
I'm thinking not all drugs or all meds are taken for only one reason - except for those that take any for any reason, or is it no reason? +5
