Help answer this question below.
A lot of people who are starting out must work second or third jobs anyway just to make ends meet or to start paying on student loans. Retail stores are often looking for sales help and they have a lot of turnover, which leads to a hire opportunity that you do not have to commit to forever. Some examples that come to mind include sporting goods and tire warehouses. If you can find something like that for 15 to 20 hours a week then you have the "sales experience" ticket punched on your qualifications. Combine that with your degree and you may be able to get around the two years experience guideline.

You're reading How can I gain sales experience? I have a science degree and would like to get into pharmaceutical sales, but most job descriptions require 2 years of sales experience.
