• Hi Therapist! (I am glad you are looking forward to a new job!!) I do feel bad when people are downrated, as I don't understand the reason for it. For me, it seems to go in spurts. Nothing for a couple of weeks, and then a dozen in a day (probably troll following me). I try my best to just ignore and move on... :-) +6

• I just DRed for this answer so today instead of 2 days ago. That is usually how it works. 3 weeks with none and then several a day for weeks. Trolls have been bad the last couple weeks.

• People downrate because they can. It is permitted. I wont lose points. Often someone will uprate any downrate they see. posi trollers. downrating is overrated. it is nothing to be alarmed about. your ego doesnt really care about downratings.

• yes, i received a downrating. the activity relates to the nature of the question. its common. one person can downrate another person at least one hundred points each week without getting in trouble. as well one person can uprate another person at least a hundred points each week without getting in trouble. One person could downrate one hundred people with one hundred minus points each in one week and not get in trouble. downrating equals uprating. they have the same value. throw out another question about getting downrated and watch everyone get a minus. so what? its the nature of the question. I have done the same thing. its an option built into the game. believe it or not, it isnt a negative experience.
