Help answer this question below.

My 01 chevy suburban check engine light came on. The code was P0135 so I replaced the upstream o2 sensor on the drivers side. The light is still on but it runs fine. Will the light go off or should I just erase the code?

If the light is on, you still have a problem, at least according to OBDII. Do you have another oxygen sensor on the passenger side?

- The code specifically indicated that it was the left cylinder bank upstream sensor. The code scanner still reads the same code P0135. It could be the wiring.
