Help answer this question below.

I stated birth control pills on Sunday (within 24hrs that i started my period) How long will it take for them to become active.

    I don't know but I would think to take the full 28 days just in case. Better to be safe than to be sorry.

    Your suppose to start taking them after you have finished you period, but if you want full effect of the birth control, the recommended wait time is a full months worth.
