You need to speak with an attorney. Just because your company tells you to lie is not a valid excuse in the eyes of the law. You could be setting yourself up to be charged or prosecuted if your company is ever investigated.
It depends on what you mean by “force.” If your employer threatens you with bodily harm if you don’t lie, then yes. Otherwise, no, as you have not been damaged in any way.
If you refuse to lie and are fired (or they take some other adverse action), now you have a case. Similarly, if you report the conduct to a state agency (i.e. whistle blowing), and your employer takes adverse action, you have case.

You're reading Can I sue my employer for forcing me to lie? Our product is made in China and we are forced to tell customers that it is manufactured in the United States! I do not feel comfortable doing this, but could lose my job if I dont.
