Help answer this question below.

In Sex and The City, how come Samantha never contracted a single STD or became HIV positive? She did have sex with a lot of men and you never saw either of them using contraception. Double standards?

    Because you do not always catch an STD, no matter the number of partners, that is just another myth they spread to hopefully curtail sexual activity and produce more sales of contraceptives. I started having sex at 16, had sex with everything with legs in college, no STD's! I did not have my first child until 29!!! Choose wisely!!!
