I don't see any problem with starting in neutral but if the switch has already failed so it won't start in park it might not last much longer. When it fails the rest of the way you will really be screwed. I would fix it as soon as possible, the tow bill when it won't start at all might be more than a new switch

You're reading I have a 94 Camry that has a bad ignition safety switch. I don't have the money ($200) to replace it. Is there any additional damage that could happen if I just continue to start it in neutral?
