Help answer this question below.
simple!.... pull them over and fine their arses off!, these fools who drive 10-20 miles/kilometers under the speed limit are just as dangerous and ones going that speed over
I've been educating them for years.. with my middle finger.
Making everyone have to renew their driving license every couple of years.
Educating the traveling public is very difficult. This is one of many topics that drivers should be educated on. How to teach them is a very good question.
I work in the transportation industry. I can tell you that speed differential is very dangerous. Because of reaction time, a speed difference of 10 mph can have serious consequences.
You can not, however there is no way driving below the speed limit is as dangerous as driving over it.
I don't think we can, like driving slow in the fast lane, they know and it's what they choose.
why is the word limit used? it is legal to drive ten miles ph below the speed limit. I drive three miles ph under the limit. most people drive ten miles ph over the limit.
We need more highway awareness adverts, e.g:
"FRUSTRATION KILLS. Do YOU have a Lambourghini in your rear mirror? Does it have a 16 year old driver? Then accelerate some, or risk ROAD RAGE"
I don't know how driving too slow could be more dangerous than driving too fast.
If you're paying attention you would notice them driving slow in plenty of time. If you don't notice them you probably wouldn't notice the slow moving child or elderly person crossing crossing a street either and probably shouldn't be driving.
You need to always be alert and drive defensively.
Same way they were brain washed that driving slow saves on gas/petrol.

You're reading How can we educate people that driving slower than the speed limit when there is no traffic (or other adverse condition) is just as dangerous as or more dangerous than driving faster than the speed limit?
