probably but you judged the person you corrected too, or so it sounds like that to me.
So what if they are? If they are, and they don't know grammar, does it matter. I, for one, am astonished at sentences (this was really sent to me) like:
Your and idot!
Correct that grammar!
sort of
If you are really trying to help the person by correcting them then yes
most ppl think that you're looking down on them or think that you're better by correcting them
This is how we all learn
Yes. They judged you to be grammatical, and that can be a good thing if you think of it as such.
Are you judging anyone? That is all that need concern you.
No, then they're also displaying that they also have no vocabulary. The correct slur to hurl at you (as Millenium has already pointed out) is "pedant" (the noun) or "pedantic" (the adjective). That, or a grammarian.
I think they're "politely" calling you a pedant!
The person judged you for being a stickler about correct grammar and ended up saying that you were 'so grammatical'!!
Well, blow me sideways! You might be so fussy, so finicky, but no person nor anything else could be 'so grammatical'.
Incidentally, I am very happy to accept when someone corrects me, as long as they don't talk through their back sides.
it can be determined that way, and sometimes people use a certain words in a sentence i do. and i have been told by certain users on this site about it, but later you read there question or answer and see there grammar you just shake your head, it is easy to judge people ,but i say be careful the way you judge people and it sometimes comes back and bites you big time.
You know some people are into correcting others. That is a pet peeve of mine. The last thing I want when I come on here is to be corrected. What good does it do really except to hurt others. Thats my feelings anyway.
I dont want any grammar or spelling "Police" around me. Sorry....
The right to a jury trial is a "right inviolate". Is it constitutional to require a person to pay a jury fee in order to claim that right?
