How do you tell if a polynomial is prime or not?

    A prime polynomial is one that cannot be factored into the product of two polynomials, using integer values.

    For example, x^2 - 9 = (x+3)(x-3) is NOT prime because it can be factored. However, x^2 + 5 IS prime.
