Which interpretation of the Italian mafia do you prefer, The Sopranos or the character's in The Godfather?

    I prefer 'The Godfather' in its depiction of an American crime family, but it's representative of the time in which it happened. It was a different society then with different rules and values. 'The Sopranos' is representative of our society today.

    I like both but the Sopranos is definately a more modern interpretation..so as far as the Italian Mafia goes I would say the Godfather..to make it more *suitable* for this day and age the Sopranos..
