Is it possible to feel glamorous in flat shoes? I love high heels but they hurt my back so I stopped wearing them, and although it's nice not to have cramped feet any more, I don't feel as sexy without them.

I would suggest that you wear the shoes that are comfortable and don't damage your feet or back. There are so many stylish low heel and flat shoes out now. You won't feel "sexy" either with a bad back and bunions!! YOU make the shoes sexy, not vice versa.

I love the look of the ballerina(I dont know how to spell them)flats,there very sexy looking.I bought a couple pair but they make my feet look to big.If you can wear them I would.

I think flat shoes can be remarkably chique. Princess Diana often wore flat shoes and looked fabulous. I am sure that Sarkozy's wife and Obama's wife also wear flat shoes a great deal of the time and they look great.

Yes. I've seen lovely satin ballet flats with elegant beading details. You could also try a nice pair of boots with a low heel.

Definitely! Give yourself a pedicure and try an open-toe shoe. Go for something with a cute strap. After all, you're only taking away the heel that makes you uncomfortable, not the entire idea of a cute shoe, so if anything, you're far more glamorous without it!

Possible, I suppose but it won't be very easy in my opinion. That is because flats are not sexy and not particularly glamorous as they do nothing for your legs but alas they are more comfortable to be sure, safer, you bet, glamorous, no way. I suppose it is possible to look glamorous in workout shoes although like flats, not likely. Flats can be stylish-sure, attractive-absolutely but glamorous, nah!

Some women don't like high heels, don't wear them and their complaints of back, leg, foot pain are completely valid and true. That doesn't mean they don't make you look hotter, sexier and attractive. High heels make your legs look sexier and if you are wired like most women in America, sexier. I have nothing at all against women who refuse to wear high heels any more than I have no problem with women wearing sweat pants but glamorous- No way.

There is a balance here though. Trying wearing 3 inch sandals rather than 4 or 5 inchers. Try on a lot of lower heel shoes and see how they make you look. Sexy high heels come in so many styles and colors you can surely find sexy shoes without sacrificing your health and don't wear them when you are going to be on your feet for a long period of time. Dressing sensibly doesn't mean wearing hooker shoes but looking good is important, isn't it?

I suppose I do feel glamorous in what you might consider "flat shoes". Anything higher than 2" makes me wobble - not glamorous at all ;)

I always wear heels if I'm going to hit up the city, but a few days ago I saw some flat shoes that had these small shiny black circle things on them, which turned to silver towards the front- they looked expensive, but weren't toooo bad (about $80 and there's always tons of places where they can be bought cheaper) and they would've looked stunning with my black sequin, silk and lace dress, which is one sexy dress.

So you just have to look, but there are some very nice flat shoes out there!

And if you still want a small heel that won't bother you all night- that same shoe I saw also came in another version with a very slight heel- enough to give a dab of extra height and shape, and perfect if you don't want sore feet after a night out :)

Well I sure like the look of those strappy sandals. Just never got around to buying them=D
