These "holocaust deniers" are anti-Semitic bigots using the fact that there are minor discrepancies in the total number of people killed as a basis for denying that it happened at all. +5

I completely agree with you. I am interested in your perceptive because you have served our nation. I think your view should be realistic.
The lack of knowledge most people have is very frighting. I never accept anything without documentation. I am not a good follower.
Do you think they really want to create world War Three?

No, they want to preserve themselves in power, but are not suicidal. Close parallel to situation in North Korea. If the Iranians go too far, Israel or the US will probably destroy their facilities. Israel did that to Iraq in 1982.

I agree but I am not clear on the solution.

I know, I don't understand how people can even think about denying it.

Do you mean these people think the history books are fiction? I saw it coming. First, they said the Bible was fiction. Then they said history books are fiction. Next, they will say that last week's magazines are fiction, and finally, they will say that this is not really happening!

It's the world's most publicized genocide and rightly so, it was terrible. People have their own reasons for denying and a lot of it is self-delusion turned fact for these people.

Many of them are beyond reason. Some of them are actually quite intelligent. But they masquerade behind false ideals, fallacies, religion, and etc. The Holocaust happened, we all know it for fact, plain and simple.

There's no point in getting mad or heated about it. Just ignore these people. A lot of it is to get attention.

I assume they have thier motives, some w/ ulterior motives. Now I do know for a fact from interviews of survivors that some Jews and Gypsies and others, actually blocked out all reports of the concentration camps, and even in the camps w/ the people going to the furnaces and smoke of flesh they were still in denial. Maybe it's just too hard to imagine.

Yes, it bugs me, and, technically, yes... They died for no reason... Unless you consider racial hatred a reason.

I wrote an article about this at http://www.orangefrogproductions.com... . What do you think?

I'm thinking in the beginning, if there was a group of people who claimed not to know the extend of the holocaust, it might be the German people. Many claimed they did not know diabolical things were happening, even when they saw neighbors disappearing.

In that sense, I can see the climate was controlled. Imagine living in a crazy time like that? It'd be unreal.

If you get a chance to look at old new reels, after the war,how people were able to go through death camps, they were clearly shocked and mortified to see what became of humans.

You know people who think the Holocaust was fraud?
