You're reading I was in an accident in my Isuzu Rodeo, minor body damage, and a cracked radiator. Thought I sealed the crack, but was wrong. The engine overheated, I felt a pop in the engine and then the engine died. Now the car won't start; the engine just turns over.

Sounds like it.

That's what I was afraid of, but is there anything else that I could try that is maybe, you know less expensive?

it could be a cracked raidator....try filling it up fully...get under the car and see if its leaking...i hope its as simple as that :)...that wouls be less expensive:)

You can get a pressure test, although I'm not sure if they do them for cooling systems. Call a shop and see what they can do for a leak test in your cooling system. Might be $50 but its cheaper than replacing the head

very true...fingers crossed for you

As it turns over you'll know if the head gasket is blown because you'll see white smoke coming out of the exhaust.
