    The narrow gate symbolizes the 'gate' to heaven.
    And the way to this gate, according to the bible, is to accept and believe in God..and that Jesus is God.

    It means Jesus is the gate to the path which leads to heaven. Every other gate has a different destination. It's saying it's easier to take a carnal path to damnation that the strait path to Salvation.
