When I was a missionary in Spain, the only Kool-Aid we had was what our friends and family back in the States could send us. Combine this with the general poverty of (unpaid) missionaries, and Kool-Aid quickly became a recognized form of currency.
The highest denomination? Kickin’ Kiwi Lime.
(I actually still have a couple packets. That stuff lasts forever!) ;-)

Do you know the original name of Kool-Aid was Fruit Smack and it was not ingested by the folks in the mass suicide in Jonestown, Guyana.. that was Wylers.
I like Kool-Aid Invisible Watermelon Kiwi.
When I make it I use a little less than half of the sugar they suggest and it tastes great to me and not overly sweet.

After ten years out of the country, someone had me over for hot dogs or something and served a cold liquid that had several different, complex, and wonderful flavors in it. I complimented it and asked what it was. "Cool-Aid fruit punch." We shouldn't sneer at it. It doesn't just taste "red."

Invisible Watermelon/Kiwi YES! YES! YES! I Love This Drink! I always keep it made up. I am known for having the WORLD FAMOUS Watermelon KoolAid Slushie. I keep it in the freezer, take it out and shake it every 2-3 hours. When you freeze sugar products the sweetness is diminished so I make it strong(extra packets & extra sugar). I do believe I have the recepie down pat! I just read a bolg that said " Watermelon/Kiwi Kool Aid is the equivalant of liquid Jolly Ranchers Watermelon Candy. Bravo! Cant get enough of this stuff!!
