You are allowed to get free reports from all of the agencies once a year.
The URL for the free Government site is: https://www.annualcreditreport.com/
Beware of all others as they try and trick you into buying various services and such. If they ever ask you for a credit card number, you know you are on the wrong site or answered a question wrong. To use this service effectively, obtain a report from each of the different credit reporting agencies every four months. These would be Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax. You are allowed 1 free report from each of the three, so space it out to continuously get it for free.

yep just go on line. don't pay for it though. you are allowed one free copy each year from each of the three major credit report companies
