You are allowed to get free reports from all of the agencies once a year.

The URL for the free Government site is: https://www.annualcreditreport.com/
Beware of all others as they try and trick you into buying various services and such. If they ever ask you for a credit card number, you know you are on the wrong site or answered a question wrong. To use this service effectively, obtain a report from each of the different credit reporting agencies every four months. These would be Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax. You are allowed 1 free report from each of the three, so space it out to continuously get it for free.
