I think that you are thinking about one of the disciples that Jesus saw under the fig tree (I think it was the fig tree). Jesus greeted the disciple by saying, "Now here is a Jew without guile."
The sycamore tree is the problem, the bibel is not the problem
I'm not sure of any reference to someone sitting under a sycamore tree in the Bible, but Zacchaeus did climb up one...

There was a little runt named Zacchaeus that climbed a sycamore tree but you would not want to sit under one because there's usually alot of bird poop on the ground... ;~)
I did not find a reference to someone sitting UNDER but I did find this:
