If people are so concerned about the importance of marriage (anti gay marriage/Prop8) why is there not an equally committed (and well-funded) push to overturn the divorce laws? Straight people do the marriage thing well right? haha

    The states should not be in the marriage business if they want to avoid controversy.

    Good question. Clearly what's at work here is more "We're the majority, so deal with it." than concern about the sanctity of marriage.
