According to Rocky 1-6 boxers live a very rigorous lifestyle and are very healthy, physically. The drawback is the brain damage that is received, but you can always pray.

do you mean boxing and no other sport? or boxing shadow boxing (boxing by yourself)? both are excellent ways to stay in shape, though
