Until someone more knowledgeable of this question answers I'll give you my input. You'll probably have to take her to court for custody rights. My mom and dad did this for me when I was young, and my dad won because he was able to prove that he could provide a better living environment for me compared to my mom. You'll be in good shape if you are to able to show you are financially stable, and able to provide properly (schooling, clothes/food, parenting, etc.). Also, it would help your case to show the bad environment the child is in while living with the aunt.
There may be differences since it's an adopted child, not sure.
~It's around age 15 the child is able to choose whom they stay with.

You're reading I want my child back that was adopted to my aunt she is now in harms way she discontinued me to see her because in started to notice the poverty nd drug use that is around her in the home please help me
