Can a 17 year-old legally move out of her parents home without consent?

    Sometimes I really wonder about the information that goes out on the web...yeah you can leagally emansipate at 16 but I was told by 3 lawyers and a probation officer that in MI they hardly ever grant emansipation...you have to proove some pretty heavy duty neglet or abuse for it to happen....but I too am unclear about the "17 year old thing" in MI....the above mentioned people all made a big deal about when my son would be 17 but it was never really made clear as to how that could help/hurt him or me legally!!!!

    The legal age to move out is 18 you can get emancipated where you can get divorced from your parents and live on your on its goin to be hard but if your willing to do it its up to you i did it but it wasent hard cause i got married at 17

    my older sister got custody of me a few years ago, my mom took me back after that but she never got custody can i go live with my almost 24 year old sister again? im 17, going to high school part time and have a part time job. i would rather just go live with my 17 year old boyfriend though if thats possible? he lives with his grandparents and they want me there.

    im am 17 and my dad left me along time ago with my aunt and she dosent have any coustdudy of me at all can i go live with my real mom my aunt says i cant but my mom says i can to there was nothing stating ever that i couldnt stay with my mom help me i need you anwser
