I love seeing some of my own country, but I also like to go abroad and see something completely different. My main problem is I don't like long plane journeys, and travelling by train or boat takes time. Given plenty of time though, I'd choose to go by boat to somewhere far away.
i would go as faraway as possible,, but my last vacation was so bad,, i was stuck at home :s,,
well, i'm always there, no matter where i go. so, sometimes i travel a good distance away, several states away or other countries, and sometimes i stay and putz around the house, go to local parks and events.
I always choose a vacation spot within 400 miles of my home.
Any time away from work is a vacation. I love being home.
I don't actually work at getting away as far as possible. I just go where I want to go. The places I want to go are always pretty far.
I like to go as far away as possible. I want to experience places I don't normally see everyday. And possibly cultures I've never been exposed to. A vacation should take your mind away from the stresses of normal life. Otherwise you're better off staying at home.
like to get right away from it all ,i travel to the outback here in Australia, my trips usually take me 12 to 14 hundred kilometers into real remote ares and it is good to get away from the city life and get some peace and quiet .
