My 1975 Chevrolet C10 pickup that has a 350 engine with 350 turbo transmission has fluid leaks on the two center bolts on the right side of the intake below the carb, what would cause transmission fluid to be on top of my engine?

    check to see if it is spitting tranny fluid out of the dip stick tube.

    The Vacuum modulator may have a bad diaphram. This will allow trans fluid to be sucked up the vacuum line into the intake. If it gets bad enough you will see white smoke from the exhaust.

    you may have a clogged transmission fluid filter. When the filter clogs, it causes increased fluid pressure in the transmission that the bleed tube cannot handle. The only way for the fluid to escape is through the transmission dipstick. Simply change the filter, top off any lost fluid, and the problem should dissappear.
