The former. Lots of other people have lost their jobs or taken pay cuts in this bad economy. Why should health care workers think they should be exempt?

If everyone in healthcare has to take a 7% paycut, then that also should include doctors. Everyone else has to struggle to survive on thier salaries. They should, too. 7% isn't going to hurt them nearly as much as it will everybody else. As for the strike, it is completely out of the question. You have a sacred, indispensable duty when you take the Hippocratic oath. FIRST DO NO HARM. If they ignore that, their license to practice should be revoked. +5
