1994 toyota corolla break light constantly on. Brakes changed 6 months ago, brake light started to turn on and off last month, now just stays on. Emergency brake lever is down. What could be causing this? Thanks

    Check the fluid and maybe have the brakes bled. If there is air in the line, the light will stay on. And make sure the emergency brake is NOT on.

    Check your brake fluid level. The brake light will inconsistently turn on and off as the brake fluid reaches the minimum level and will stay on constantly when your brake fluid is below the acceptable minimum level.

    there is a little switch at the top of the brake pedal arm . lift upward on the pedal and see if the light goes out.

    If the light is on, that is an alert to have your brakes checked ASAP, something is wrong.
