Help answer this question below.

I an adult woman,got my tongue peirced on Thursady,today is Sunday,My tongue is covered in white stuff,I can only see the top half my ball the bottom half is in my tongue,I do rinse with listerine after eating,drinking,smoking,I do turn it,Is this ok?

    i got my tongue pierced 3 weeks ago..my tongue went white aswell this is the normal healing process.
    i used listerine but i diluted it first,,thats what your suppose to do,so u dont kill good germs..
    only use that twice a day ,anymore and u can get infections,,but clean your teeth and the bar after every time u eat..if u cannot see the ball at the bottom its time to go back to piercer and he;ll change it for a bigger one..its not supposed to be tight,,i hope this helps,,

    i kno some places tell you to rinse with listerine diluted with water but its actually not good for you. what is does is it kills even the good bacteria that helps with the healing process. The tattoo studio i went to recommended Biotene, tech2000, or any other rinse that is ALCOHOL-free (sea salt rinses also work great and helps the tongue heal faster)...mine healed in a matter of weeks;)

    do not use listerine, its has flouride and alchohol or w.e, you should you salt water, or a no flavour mouthwash, make sure to water down the mouthwash

    No its not, you may have ganggreen and your tongue may fall off soon. If I were you, enjoy all the good food now before you lose it. Good Luck! lol
