Short answer is no.
Credit Checks are designed to assess someones credit worthiness - when you are the credit issuer.
Unless you are issuing credit in the form of a service contract to repay the value of a service, ie. mobile contract with handset installments over 24 months; a software license over a set period of time, etc.
you are usually not entitled to check someones credit score.
This may vary from country to country, but generally the system is pretty consistent.

Hi harlekkin,
It wasn't actually interested in an individuals Credit Rating but the credit rating of a company.
