Growing up my mom was to cheap to buy hot dog buns so she would split the hot dogs in half and put them on Wonder Bread :(

Hamburger buns. They're more easily able to contain condiments and vegetables. Plus, if you cut hot dogs into pieces you can easily fit two or three hot dogs between one pair of hamburger buns. Lastly, they're infinitely stackable (think Big Mac). How cool is that?

I could always make torpedo shaped hamburgers, but I think that slicing the hot dogs lengthwise and then layering them in a round bun is a better option.

Since they tase releatively the SAME ; I'd jsut as soon have my hamburger on a hot dog bun ... I'll break up the hamburger in two or three pieces so it will fit properly .. +5
