The HDMI to component cable is your best bet, but you might need to setup your computer to output through it properly. If you have an nvidia video card you can just go to their website and DL their latest driver and it should install the tool you need to play around with your video display. It even lets you specifically configure it for TVs. If you have another brand of video chipset (like ATI or intel), you'll have to go to that manufacturer's website and look for their latest drivers and tools and play around with them. They should have similar features on them as Nvidia's software.
