Parents or Soon-to-be Parents: Do you or would you allow your child to play with toy guns? Does how realistic it looks make a difference (colorful vs black)? How about a certain age restriction(not until they are at least ___yrs old)?

    I wouldn't go restricting your child from playing with toy guns. Mostly because it would be rediculously over protective... But secondly when a child plays with a toy gun it's more about the feel of it, pretending there's sparks flying out of it, and the feeling of reloading it etc. It's rarely about fully and seriously kiling anyone.

    If you want to be an idiot, just stop him playing with guns full stop.

    If you want to be a half decent parent, let him play.

    Colour doesn't matter.
