I will only kill someone in defense of myself or someone I've deemed worthy of saving. I would never ask someone to kill for me or for someone to die for me. And I would NEVER do it for money, I don't care how much it is. Good question though. +3
-
No, it would be tempting but I wouldn't kill someone for money. The movie sounds pretty good though
-
Absoloutely not! I'm no murderer.
-
Oh, you mean I've been offered a job as a politician?
-
Duh, of course : P
-
I'd keep pressing til the button breaks
-
Sure. One less person over-populating the world plus I get the bonus of money.
-
you see thats a trick in itself because most people dont know themselves; the box probably has a granade in it
-
I do not press the button.
-
Probably the morally wrong thing to say, but yes I would press it.
-
I'd probably have to push to button and rationalize that the person who dies may have a terminal illness anyway.
-
How could I be sure that the person dies when I push the button? Your offering me a million dollars to kill someone than I want to make sure that they are dead. Do I get a million for every time that I push it and some random stranger dies? I'm pushing the button, no question about it.
-
No, maybe I would press it for 10 million, but not a million!
-
i read the story, will skip the movie, and will push the button
-
uh negative- thats the same thing as murdering someone for cash- hell NAW!
-
With the given information, I would have to say that I would [not] press the button. How can I be certain that I am not the individual who would die once the button is pressed?
-
No, you can't put a price on a human life (answering from my serious side).
-
I'd probably push the button, and hope that the stranger who dies, is one that deserves to die.
-
People die all the time. Even if you could somehow connect using that button to any single person't death, there's no way of knowing if they wouldn't have died anyway. I'd go for it.
-
Are you nuts? Of course not! But then, who would set up such a sick scenario anyway?
-
no, i couldn't. if i could direct the killing to one or two people, maybe ... hehehe!!! ... what if that button killed my child? not worth the risk, even if 1 in 6.7 billion. . "hello" suggested a movie. what if this were a nightly game show?
-
Ya know, I'm not sure what show it was (Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, Tales from the Dark Side) but they Did that story in half an hour, and I get the feeling that expanding the story didn't do it any favors.
-
No, I can't imagine doing such a thing. My mortgage will get paid off eventually.
-
No. I might consider it, but the feeling you have done the right thing and potentially saved someone's life is worth more than 1 million.
